"I drove to Ft. Cronkite by myself to film a live recording. At 6am, no-one came to watch except a coyote. I had my protools and a generator in my van, -and 3 Cybershot cameras(one was on the end of a stick) My friend Dave Shendel put it on his computer to mix the footage and tracks".

Anonymous said...: Danny era una parte importante della E street band, gruppo nel quale non ci sono dei strumentisti fuoriclasse (a parte Roy Bittan) ma buoni elementi che insieme creano una miscela esplosiva, diventando quella che per me è sempre stata la band favorita di tutti i tempi, sono cresciuto con loro e danny mi mancherà un casino, in questi momenti vorresti sapere com'era come uomo, vorresti averlo conosciuto almeno per 10 minuti, riposi in pace, marcello; 18:42

The Love Song

Though the love song comes in many guises – songs of exultation and praise, songs of rage and of despair, erotic songs, songs of abandonment and loss – they all address God, for it is the haunted premises of longing that the true love song inhabits. It is a howl in the void, for Love and for comfort and it lives on the lips of the child crying for his mother. Mystery

Mystery is ancient. It's the essence of everything. It violates all conventions of beauty and understanding. It was there before the beginning, and it will be there beyond the end. We were created in it. The Mississippi Sheiks recorded a song called "Stop and Listen." To most music aficionados, it's but a ragtime blues. But to me, it's words of wisdom. Saint Paul said we see through the glass darkly. There's plenty of mystery in nature and contemporary life. For some people, it's too harsh to deal with. But I don't see it that way.
